This season, a generous €5,000 sponsorship from H&MV is being reinvested directly into supporting riders. A €1,000 end-of-season participation draw will be held, with eligibility requiring riders to compete in at least five of the six league rounds and take part in at least one National Championship event (Track, Time Trial, or Road). Riders who meet both criteria will be entered into the draw. Over €3,000 in end-of-season prizes will be awarded based on final league standings, including overall winner jerseys, trophies, and cash prizes across several categories: Tandems, Solo Bikes, Hand Bikes, Juniors, and Most Improved Rider. Separate prizes may also be offered by promoting clubs at individual rounds, in addition to these overall awards.

Cycling Ireland’s High-Performance Paracycling Pathway Coach, Marcin Mizgajski is looking forward to the series, highlighting the inclusivity, community, and competitive opportunity it offers within paracycling in Ireland, “The Paracycling National League is back with six rounds, countless stories, and plenty of reasons to smile (and suffer a little on the bike). With the incredible support of H&MV, this league is about creating opportunity, community, and proper racing for riders of all abilities across Ireland. Whether you’re chasing podiums or personal bests, the support is there, the welcome is real, and the racing is on.”
