Events

The 2024 Triathlon Open Water season starts in Clonmel, when it hosts a double header of events on Sunday 12^th May.

Round one of both the Triathlon National Series and Junior Series kick off with a fast swim in the River Suir, followed by a largely flat out and back cycle.  The finish line and epic post race food awaits you once you complete the run along the Suir Blueway.

Following the success of its inaugural Triathlon in 2023, Clonmel Tri Club look forward to welcoming over 250 triathletes to Suir Island, right in the heart of Clonmel.

There will be great excitement on the day for all participants with a special focus on the junior athletes who will be kicking off their racing season in style.
