After a six year hiatus, triathlon racing returns to Galway City on the 16 June this year with Galway Triathlon Club playing host to the Tribesman Triathlon, a stunning sprint race sure to attract a wide range of participants from across the country.

The swim unfolds in the picturesque River Corrib and as the fastest-flowing city river in Europe, participants can anticipate impressive personal best swim times. Following the swim, competitors embark on a fast flat bike out and back route, that leads towards Moycullen and out along the new bypass, ultimately returning to the University of Galway for a very scenic run, weaving through the captivating grounds of the University and alongside the banks of the River Corrib.
