Irish National Downhill Championships week is here, as Bree MTB Club welcome the best downhill riders the country has to offer to Bree, Co. Wexford.
Practice and seeding runs on Saturday, July 20th will set the field for race runs on Sunday, July 21st on a challenging course built by Bree MTB Club.
The event will see UCI Downhill World Cup riders Oisin O’Callaghan, Chris Cumming, Jacob Dickson and Henry Kerr take part, giving domestic riders a chance to pit themselves against some of the world’s best.
In the Senior Women’s category Leah Maunsell will be hoping to improve on last year’s second place, with defending champion Meghan Flanagan not competing.
Callum Morris will look to defend his National Championship in the Junior Men.
National Championship races will take place in the following categories: Senior open, Women, Junior men, M30 open, M40 open, M50 open as well as U14 and U16 boys.
