For over a century, the Dublin City Liffey Swim has been the pinnacle of the open sea season. This historic event provides an unforgettable experience for competitors and spectators. The swim starts at Rory O’More Bridge near Guinness Brewery gate and ends at North Wall Quay famously standing before The Custom House, passing under eleven bridges along the route, including landmarks like the Four Courts.

Swim Ireland are delighted to be hosting this event on Saturday 7^th September 2024 with the women’s race starting a 1.15pm followed by the men’s race at 2.30pm and a prize giving and refreshments at Custom House Quay afterwards. Entries are now open for the 104th Dublin City Liffey Swim and in continuing with the tradition and format of the race, swimmers will be allocated handicaps for the race.
