Erin McConnell and Luke McCarron were both in action this weekend at the 2024 Europe Triathlon Cup Alanya.

McConnell backed up her recent 4th place in Ceuta with a 7th place this weekend in Alanya. McConnell exited the water in 3rd position and raced with the front pack across the double looped bike course. A 16:43 5km run saw her cross the line in 7th position for a total time of 57:38.

McCarron was in action in the mens race finishing in 54:25 for 57th position. McCarron’s next scheduled race is 2024 Americas Triathlon Premium Cup Viña del Mar, Chile on the 3rd of November.

McConnell will now turn her focus to the 2024 World Triathlon Cup Miyazaki on the 9th of November, to close out her international season for 2024.
