Cycling Ireland is seeking to identify female and male tandem pilots for various Paracycling disciplines within the UCI framework of recognised World Championship events and IPC Paralympic disciplines – Road Race, Road Time Trial, Track Endurance (Pursuit) and Track Sprint (Kilo and Sprint).

Paracycling is one of Irelands most decorated and successful High-Performance Sports Programmes, achieving considerable success over the last four Paralympic cycles. The tandem element of the programme has produced some amazing pairings and impressive results.

To maintain the standard of the sport into the future, Cycling Ireland are inviting expressions of interest from experienced cyclists to trial for Tandem Piloting

This expression of interest will allow the high-performance unit to assess the capabilities of relevant applicants, provide training opportunities and exposure for successful candidates, and further discussions between the stoker, pilot and national coach.
