Athletics Ireland has announced the following selections for the World Athletics Indoor Championships which take place in Nanjing, China, from March 21st– 23rd 2025.
The following athletes have been confirmed as selected having achieved an automatic qualification standard.
Sarah Healy 3000m UCD AC Trevor Painter & Jenny Meadows
Sarah Lavin 60m Hurdles Emerald AC Noelle Morrissey
Kate O’Connor Heptathlon Dundalk St. Gerard’s AC Michael O’Connor
Andrew Coscoran 1500m & 3000m Star of the Sea AC Helen Clitheroe
The following athletes have achieved a ‘B’ standard during the respective qualification period and will be confirmed as ‘Selected’ should they be allocated a quota place by World Athletics in the final ‘Road to Nanjing’ list, expected to be published by World Athletics on Wednesday March 12th .
