This weekend will see Ireland’s top Para swimmers in action at the 2025 Irish Open Swimming Championships, taking place from April 12th to 16th at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic Centre. Three High Performance athletes and three members of the Performance Pathway Squad will take to the pool across the five days of competition. The event provides a key opportunity for athletes to race at a high level, gain valuable experience, and represent the strength of Para swimming in Ireland.
A total of six Para swimmers will represent Ireland across the five days of competition at the 2025 Irish Open Championships. Róisín Ní Ríain, Barry McClements, and Dearbhaile Brady will compete as part of the High Performance squad, while Siomha Brady, Luke Brennan, Luke O’Donoghue, and will feature from the Performance Pathway squad.

Heats begin at 9:30am daily, with finals at 5:00pm. Tickets are required for evening sessions only and are now available at Eventmaster, HERE. Swim Ireland members and parents of competing athletes can claim one free ticket each using their membership number. General admission is €5 per evening or €20 for a 5-day pass.
