The first UCI Para-cycling Road World Cup event of the year took place in Ostend and Bruges from May 1st to 4th, where the Irish team delivered standout performances.
Double Paralympian Richael Timothy impressed in the WC3 category, earning a bronze medal in the individual road race. Tandem duo Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly showcased their world-class form once again, claiming gold in the individual time trial and adding a bronze medal in the individual road race in the WB category.
Newcomer Cormac O’Callaghan also produced a strong showing, finishing 9th in the MC1 category road race, marking an encouraging step in his development at international level.
