On Saturday 28^th of September Athletics Ireland will host their second athletics development day in the VSI Athletics Hub in Portlaoise for athletes with a Vision Impairment and Physical Disability.

The junior session for athletes aged 8 -18 years will take place from 11am – 1pm and the senior session for athletes 19 + from 1.30pm – 3pm. Each athlete can choose two events on the day from Track (Ambulant), Shot Put or Javelin.

The sessions are also open to all club coaches wanting to learn more about coaching an athlete with an impairment.
