Beyond the Wall Triathlon made a return for its fourth edition, drawing nearly 300 competitors to the scenic Castle Ward Estate in County Down. Hosted by Down Triathlon Club, the event was part of the competitive Triathlon National Series, ensuring plenty of action for the 6th round of the series.
Athletes took on the course, starting with a single-lap, 750-metre swim in Strangford Lough. The swim was followed by a fast-paced 20km cycle, which took competitors through the historic estate grounds and out onto the surrounding roads. The triathlon concluded with a decisive 5km run through the estate towards the finish line.
