The Blackrock Health Galway Clinic Streets of Galway 8K takes place on 10th August, now in it 38th year the event is a jewel in the crown of running events in Galway and beyond!

Since its inception in 1986 the event has grown into one of the most prestigious road races in the country, yet remains true to its original motto of Sport for All, as many locals and visitors take on the event year in year out.

The Streets is a fast and flat 8k race routing around Galway City, Salthill and the famous Claddagh. It attracts thousands of runners from all walks of life to the city on a superb summers evening in the City of the Tribes

Race Start is 7pm at Fr Griffin Road and Race finish is at South Park, HQ is the Claddagh Hall at Nimmos Pier
