Entries are now open for the 2025 Cross-Country National Championships, with Downhill National Championship entries opening tomorrow, Thursday 10th of July at 8pm.

XC

National Cross-country (XC) Championships will take place at Tracton Woods, County Cork hosted by MBCC on Sunday, July 20th.

On Saturday 19 July 2025 there will be practice available as well as the races for the non-championship categories (U6 to U12).  The championship races take place on Sunday 20 July.

Entries will close Sunday, July 13th at 23.59, and are now open HERE.

Downhill

The 2025 National Downhill Championships will take place over the weekend of 26-27 July 2025. The event will take place at Ballyhoura, County Limerick and will be hosted by Limerick Mountain Biking Club.

The entries will open on Thursday 10 July 2025 at 8 pm for the Junior, Senior and Women. The entries for the Juvenile, Youth and Masters will open on Friday 11 July 2025 at 8 pm. There is a limit of 200 riders for the event so entries will be further limited to:

• Those riders with a competition licence
• Those with IRELAND on their licence
• Championship categories (i.e. there will not be a Sports category)
