Elite Racing at Olsztyn

ByEmma Porter |

Both James Edgar and Donnacha McCarthy, with his guide Sean Husband, raced on the elite side of competition in Olsztyn.

Edgar made it out of his fast and furious semi-final in this super short course racing format to finish 37th in the final. While McCarthy finished in 7th position in the PTVI race.

Both international athletes have been guests on the Tri Talking Sport podcast. You can find each of their respective episodes at:

*The PTVI classification refers to visually impaired athletes. The PTVI classification is subdivided into three classes, 1, 2 and 3. However, they all compete in the same medal event with PTVI1 athletes having a time advantage using the ITU interval start system.
