ByEmma Porter |

The Cycling Ireland Women’s Commission is very proud to be running the Gabriel Glodenyte Memorial Sportive on Sunday, 22nd September.

The event, open to both female and male riders, will raise funds to support women’s cycling in Ireland, while also honouring Gabby’s memory. Gabby was a talented cyclist, racing with UCD and picking up some fantastic results, having taken the sport up during Covid.

The route will be stage 4 of last year’s Ras na mBan heading along the beautiful Copper Coast in Co.Waterford. There will be two route options 60km and 100km.

The 60km route is available HERE.

Thee 100km route is available HERE.

Both routes start and end in Dungarvan, and there will be light refreshments for all participants on returning into Dungarvan. There will also be a water and small snack stop midway on the 100km route.

Entries are still open HERE.
