Expressions of interest are sought for the following workshops:

Guide Running Workshop / Vision Sports Awareness Training

Guide running is where a sighted runner supports a vision impaired or blind runner to exercise, train or compete in a safe manner. Vision Sports Ireland and Athletics Ireland aim to create a network of guide running coordinators and guide running volunteers across Ireland to support people with a Vision Impairment to participate in the activity of running.

In advance of the in-person workshop or shortly after, all participants must complete the Vision Sports Awareness Training, which is a 90-minute online course.

Para-Athletics Coach Development Webinar Series

Athletics Ireland, Paralympics Ireland and Offaly Sports Partnership will host a Coach Development Webinar Series early in 2024. The series will include 5 x 1hr webinars (50min info delivery, 10 min Q&A) including Official education webinar.
