Located in the North of England, Leeds is one of the biggest cities in the UK and known all over the world for being the hub of triathlon racing. The city boasts state-of-the-art training facilities including the Brownlee Centre, the UK’s first purpose-built triathlon training centre. Yorkshire has also hosted the Tour de France Grand Depart so is no newcomer when it comes to big sporting events. If you want to experience a full distance race in the heart of a triathlon mad city in England, this one’s for you.
Roundhay Park will be the hub of the race starting with the 2.4-mile (3.8km) lake swim . From here the race extends onto the 112 mile (180km) bike course, before the 26.2-mile (42.2km) run on multi-lap course around Roundhay Park and scenic surrounding areas.
