The Children’s Run for Fun at the Regeneron Great Limerick Run 2024 will take place on Saturday the 4th May 2024.

The event is organised by Regeneron Great Limerick Run in conjunction with Limerick Sports Partnership and the HSE.

This year four waves (1 wheelchair and three others) will take place at the University of Limerick. Each wave will have a limited number of participants so make sure to get your entries in early!

Event Schedule:

• 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM: Race Pack Collection at UL Arena. If you haven’t received your race pack by the event day, please come to collect it at this time. Ensure you have your barcode ticket ready to help us quickly locate your order.
• 2:30 PM: Wheelchair Event on Track. Races get underway with an inclusive event for our wheelchair participants.
• 3:00 PM: Junior & Senior Infants 1KM Route. The youngest runners take on a kilometer of fun and excitement.
• 3:45 PM: First, Second & Third Class 1.5 KM Route. School-aged children step up the challenge in this engaging race.
• 4:30 PM: Fourth, Fifth & Sixth Class 2 KM Route. The oldest participants will test their endurance in a 2-kilometer dash.

Parents, guardians, and minders are encouraged to join in the fun for the first two runs, supporting their little athletes every step of the way.

Every runner receives a medal to celebrate their achievement, a token of their hard work and dedication.
