The hugely popular Loughrea Triathlon Festival returns in 2024 taking place on bank holiday Sunday 4th August, winner of  Triathlon Ireland Race of the Year in 2023  it is expected to attract an even bigger crowd this year. The theme of this year’s festival is shaped by the Olympic ideals to dream and to aspire.

Predator Triathlon Club will host the National Series Sprint Triathlon and Youth National Championships  incorporating the ATU Youth National Club Championship and ATU Youth Triathlon Cup (12-17) as well as a an adult Sprint Aquabike Race and Children’s Triathlon Festival (U11)The Youth races will take place in the morning, followed by the adult races in the afternoon.
