The Swim Ireland Open Water Swim Series focuses on getting out, being active and completing your own personal challenge. Some have a competitive element and prizes, but everyone is welcome whether they want to race or want to take it at their own pace.
The Swim Ireland National Open Water Swim has been developed to bring together a calendar of national open water events taking place around the country all being run under the auspices of Swim Ireland.
The events on the calendar are being hosted by Swim Ireland and/or Swim Ireland affiliated clubs/regions and are open to Swim Ireland members. The events across the country cater for experienced open water swimmers who want to race, as well as beginners and newbies to the sport who are out to gain experience.
The Malahide Swim Series is an exciting start to the season which will take place over 4 consecutive Friday nights in Malahide. The mini-series will be a chance for experienced open water swimmers and newbies to prepare for the summer ahead. The races will not be handicapped, and spot prizes will be awarded on each of the nights.
