Paralympian Greta Streimikyte (U.C.D. A.C.) competed in the Senior Women’s 3000m, finishing ninth overall in a time of 10:00.23 in a deep and competitive national field.

In the men’s sprint events, Damien Moyles (Moy Valley A.C.) ran 54.63 in the 400m to finish fifth in his heat, narrowly missing his personal best in an encouraging early season performance. Clubmate Fionán Ruane recorded 7.34 in the 60m, finishing fifth in his heat and gaining valuable championship experience at senior level.

Charlie Byrne also impressed, producing a personal best performance in the 200m.
