Setanta Triathlon Club will once again host the popular Blackrock Sprint Triathlon along the coastline of County Louth in the town of Blackrock.

This Blackrock event is suited to both beginners and experienced racers alike. For those starting out, swimmers are never out of their depth and this is a major advantage for nervous swimmers. The focus is very much on fun and enjoyment for all who want to try a triathlon and whose objective is simply to cross the line on the main street in Blackrock.

The sprint distance consists of 750 metre swim, 18km bike and 5km run. Race registration opens at 9.30am on the day with a race briefing at 9.45am.
