Triathlon Ireland will be hosting National Youth, Junior and Under 23 Talent ID Days across Munster, Leinster, Connacht and Ulster in October.
The Talent ID Day is a performance assessment event for all young people who wish to join the Triathlon Ireland National Youth and Junior Squads, and represent Ireland internationally.

The sessions open to all athletes aged between 12-15 and 16-19 and Under 23. Your age category is determined by your age on the 31st of December 2025.
Athletes aged between 12-15 will complete a 200m swim time-trial and a 1500m run time-trial.
Those aged between 16-19 will complete a 400m swim time-trial and a 3000m run time-trial.
Under 23’s will complete a 400m swim time-trial and a 3000m run time trial.
Based on the world class standards found on the Triathlon Ireland website HERE, athletes that achieve 150 points will be invited onto the National Squad and athletes that achieve 130-149 points will be invited onto the Horizon Squad.
