Triathlon Ireland will be hosting a National Youth and Junior Talent ID Day in Omagh Leisure Complex on Sunday, May 7th, 2023. The Talent ID Day is a trial event for all those who wish to join the Triathlon Ireland National Youth and Junior Squads, and represent Ireland internationally.

Details

During the day athletes will be asked to take part in a swim and a run trial, with Triathlon Ireland High-Performance coaches in attendance to help and observe.

The distances are:

Youth Triathletes (14 – 16 Years Old): 200m swim and 1500m Run
Junior Triathletes (17 – 19 Years Old): 400m swim and 3000m Run‌

Timings

Arrival at 9.30am and meet in swimming pool reception.

10:30am – First swimmer off
12:30 – 13:30 – Break between swim and run
13:35 – First run group off

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

• Swim gear
• Run gear
• Warm clothing
• Food and Hydration

Registration

Cost: Free

Please note that all correspondence, including registration, must be with the athlete’s parent/carer if the athlete is under 18.
