After two unforgettable years back in action, the Tribesman Triathlon returns to Galway on Sunday, June 14th, 2026 hosted by Galway Triathlon Club.
Taking place on the grounds of the University of Galway, the swim unfolds in the picturesque River Corrib, and as the fastest-flowing city river in Europe, participants can anticipate impressive personal best swim times. Following the swim, competitors embark on a fast flat bike out and back route, that leads towards Moycullen and out along the new bypass, ultimately returning to the University of Galway, for a very scenic run, weaving through the captivating grounds of the University and alongside the banks of the River Corrib.
