The Western Lakes Womens Sportif takes place on 24th September this year and is a fantastic day out for women cyclists of all abilities. A 65km leisure sportif which circuits the beautiful Lough Mask. The route starts & finishes in Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo and takes in the villages of Tourmakeady, Finney and Clonbur before returning to Ballinrobe.

The scenery along the way is unparalled and gives participants a chance to appreciate the beauty of South Mayo and North Galway. There will be a very generous food stop at the halfway point. The Sportif is a non competitive leisure event and it will be fully marshalled and supported. It has gained a reputation over the years as being one of the most welcoming sportifs in the country and is a great way to finish out your summer season of cycling.

Entry fee is €25 plus one day CI license if required.
