Two new World Masters Records* in 4x800m Relay were set at the Dublin Graded Meet 2 at Morton Stadium over the weekend (May 12th).

The W45 team of Denis Toner (Clones AC), Maria Dunne (St Laurence O’Tooles), Zoe Quinn (Raheny) and Kelly Neely (City of Lisburn) ran 9.40.76 to smash the existing record of 9.43.13 (set by an Australian team in Mar 2023).

The W65 team of Mary Browne (Mayo AC and formerly Lucan Harriers), Noreen Bonner (Finn Valley), Brigid McCabe (Mullingar Harriers) and Pauline Moran (Mayo AC) ran 12.59.94 to obliterate the existing record of 14.49.29 set by USA in Jul 2022.
